Who is Jillian Jonathan?
She’s the warm, bright, brilliant skin center assistant at The Skin Center.

1. What are your day-to-day responsibilities at The Skin Center?
Throughout the day, it’s my job to make sure all our patients feel welcome, comfortable, informed, and confident that they will be provided with the best care possible and in a timely fashion.
I also help our amazing staff keep our facility clean, stocked, and organized; maintain monthly promotional signs; and take before and after photos of our patients.
2. What is the first thing patients can expect when they walk into The Skin Center?
Patients will always receive a warm smile and welcoming greeting when coming into The Skin Center. As working women and moms, we understand the need for self-improvement and fitting that into a busy life. We share a special relationship with our patients, so when they come in for an appointment or just pop in to ask questions, they always feel comfortable, understood, heard, and appreciated.
3. What is the most common question you get from patients?
People always ask what we offer to treat wrinkles, which is a great question because there are so many amazing options. We offer Sofwave (Ultrasound Treatment), Dysport and Botox, microneedling and more! It’s wonderful having the two best nurses on board who can help to create a wonderful customized treatment plan for each individual depending on their specific skin care needs.
4. Which of your personality traits come in most handy in your position at The Skin Center?
Social skills! I enjoy getting to know our patients and learning about them as a person —not just a patient—because I have a genuine interest in their story. This helps us create trust that helps customers build a positive relationship with our care team.
5. What are some of the most popular reasons people are visiting The Skin Center?
One of our most popular services is laser hair removal, which is a wonderful, and in some cases, life-changing service. Not only do we do hair removal for cosmetic reasons, but we also treat patients with PCOS, a hormonal condition that can cause hair growth in especially unwanted places.
When it comes to products, our Retrinal products are definitely on the top of the list for popularity. We offer a Retrinal Day, Retrinal Night, Retrinal Eye cream, and a new Retrinal serum that all help to restore the skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Who doesn’t love that?!
6. You work at The Skin Center, but are you also a patient?
I sure am! Chemical peels, laser hair removal, microneedling, Dysport—you name it! I truly believe that proactive skin care is a huge part of keeping yourself looking young. Taking the time to treat and maintain is key to feeling your best.
7. It’s Friday night. What are you doing?
Friday nights are crazy at my house! The kids are all in weekend mode, so there’s usually a bonfire in the backyard while our three dogs run around the yard chasing each other and the kids.
My husband and I enjoy watching the kids enjoying their youth as they run around and we prepare dinner. Then it’s off to bed for an early rise back to the Skin Center to greet our wonderful Saturday morning patients. 🙂
